My Story

I grew up in Jonesborough, Tennessee - the Storytelling Capital of the World - surrounded by the understanding that story isn’t just something we tell, but something we live. From an early age, I saw how stories could heal, connect, and transform people at their core.

My path eventually led me into drama therapy and expressive arts, where I learned to work with story not just as narrative, but as something held in the body, the nervous system, and our sense of identity. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked with individuals and communities using creative, embodied approaches to help people reconnect with themselves, make meaning of their experiences, and step out of roles that no longer fit.

Along the way, my own life taught me what it feels like to live inside inherited scripts — and what it takes to gently, courageously rewrite them. That lived experience informs my work just as much as my training does.

Today, I offer trauma-informed expressive arts and embodiment facilitation for people who are ready to come home to themselves -not by fixing what’s “wrong,” but by listening to what’s been waiting to be heard.
